We market a wide range of products, including chemicals, construction chemicals and agricultural solutions. To join their growing business BASF would like to appoint a Key Account Manager.

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and working with key accounts to achieve sales targets and compete with competition. You will build long term strategic joint plans that are aligned to support the core crop protection/ agricultural solutions business strategy to achieve growth plans.

You will be responsible for the creation and implementation within the Demand Creation Team of key account engagement plans supported by the Business Development Managers, for the Field Sales team, that achieve financial account and UK targets. Furthermore you will outline objectives and tactics that deliver annual final targets and build long term strategic joint plans with assigned accounts, that are aligned to and support overall UK business strategy.

Finally you will lead key account manager for your customer, with responsibility for the creation, delivery and review of 3-5 year key account plans.

This position requires that you are educated to degree level in business, agricultural or related discipline, have extensive commercial and technical experience within the agricultural industry and are highly knowledgeable in both the customer base and technical developments.
