Technical Services Adviser – Crop Protection Division

What you can expect Working as part of the Technical Services team you will proactively plan, co-ordinate and evaluate efficacy data for the registration of BASF Crop Protection products in the UK, Ireland and central Europe.

o You will closely co-operate with UK and European colleagues on project management, trials and protocol planning, as well as providing the necessary liaison with external providers.

o You will also be responsible for data analysis, evaluation and interpretation of the results required to produce the biological assessment registration dossier.

o You will provide the interface for technical expertise and awareness of European biological regulatory issues between crop teams in the UK and Europe.

o You will be expected to help with the Technical Hotline for our UK and IE customers and ensure the accuracy of product technical literature in both internal and external communications in the UK.

What we expect

o Ideally you will hold a degree in Agriculture or Biological Sciences, be BASIS qualified, and have experience within the industry.

o Experience in writing biological assessment dossiers is preferred as well as a comprehensive understanding of the technical issues in the market.

o You have an excellent command of English, good writing skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o You are competent with software packages, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. o A valid driving licence is required and some overnight and European travel will be

expected.

o This role is ideally office based at Cheadle or Woolpit. However, for experienced candidates, home office working may be considered.
